Situated in the heart of North Adelaide, The Daniel O'Connell Hotel is ideally located for your special event. The 150-year-old Heritage listed hotel and the historic Peppertree Restaurant with its lush green courtyard surrounds offer historic charm along with a wonderful vista for any dining experience.

Enhancing your experience at The Daniel O'Connell Hotel is the warm ambience of the authentic Irish theme. In 1998 the Hotel was remarkably transformed into its current elegant state showcasing all the features of a traditional Irish Pub in Victorian-era Dublin.

The delightful Peppertree Restaurant accommodates up to 95 people in a seated format and 140 people for cocktail-style functions. Our Peppertree Courtyard can accommodate up to 30 people in either a seated or cocktail format, while also being a charming setting for ceremonies and memorable photographs.

The Daniel O'Connell Hotel now offers two private rooms on the fully refurbished first floor of the Hotel, accommodating parties of up to twelve guests for private dining and twenty guests for meetings and workshops.

For those more intimate occasions, the Daniel O'Connell Hotel now offers dining for groups of 2 to 4 on our Balcony Resaurant overlooking some of Adelaide's architectural wonders including the Heritage listed North Adelaide Library and Baptist Church.
